 Today businesses rely heavily on their Internet connection.  Whether you have a T-1 line, Cable, or DSL, you probably rely on your connection as a lifeline to conduct business.  Unfortunately in today's environment, your connection can be disabled  or otherwise put out of service for a variety of reasons.  Companies go out of business, cars hit telephone poles, equipment failures, lightning strikes, or any number of events can cause your connection to go down.  Unfortunately these higher speed connections that your business takes for granted are often not restored quickly.  We receive a lot of panic phone calls from businesses desperate to get back on the Internet.  Don't wait until your only Internet connection is down to fully realize and appreciate what that connection is worth to your business and how much money will be lost waiting for a new or repaired connection.  Emergency Backup Connections usually involve a 56K Dialup Router and telephone line.  This connection is not as fast as your main connection but it should be enough to handle your critical E-Mails and WWW page access.  There are two types of Emergency Internet Connections.  Those that are planned for and those that are not.

Planned Emergency Internet Connections

If you plan ahead, we can come to your location and evaluate your network, servers, DNS, and routers.  We can then put together a procedure and have equipment in place to get all or at least most of your Internet connectivity operational through a Emergency Backup Connection.  This may also involve moving some of your servers (E-Mail, WWW, etc) to our network and temporarily redirecting traffic there.  If a good Emergency Internet Connection Plan is in place and periodically tested, loosing your primary connection will be a lot less painful.  The cost of maintaining an Emergency Internet Connection Plan is far less than having an emergency without a plan.
